It is rare to find matching pieces that are this old. The Ch'ing Dynasty (1644-1911) artifacts from which I can now make jewelry date back about 90-140 years; most objects were clothing trims or parts of elaborate headdresses. If you have a chance to see the Oscar winning film of 1988, The Last Emperor, which is fascinating, you can see some of these things being worn.
Ear wires are made in sterling silver; I will include tiny plastic nuts for additional security.
